How to have good hygiene

Most people think that in order to be perceived as being more attractive, you need to have a chiseled face that comes straight out of a comic book. That will certainly help you look better, however, having good hygiene will make it or break it! No handsome man will be approached if he smells like the inside of an unwashed protein shaker. In this article, you will learn how to have good hygiene. This will be the first part of many as this is a vast topic and each habit is as important as the next.

I know what you are thinking. Those are basics that are taught to us from a very young age, however, most people neglect them or perform them incorrectly.

  1. Showering daily

You do not want to be the person that everyone avoids because of their stench! Showering daily with soap is a must. I know that it is technically not great for your skin to shower daily and that two to three times a week is enough; however, if you sweat a lot or exercise daily, then you should shower frequently to remove the grime, dirt and dead skin cells. Soap will kill the bacteria to remove any odor and will help you to have good hygiene.

2. Apply fragrance

This is to complement the first habit and not to replace it. You should use fragrance to enhance your smell, not to mask your stench. Smell is the key to unlocking emotions, so pick your perfume wisely. Your fragrance must reflect who you are or who you want to be. It may take time to find your signature scent, but its well worth the effort.

3.Good oral hygiene

Talking to people while unknowingly having bad breath is one of the most embarrassing things that you can experience, so don’t let it happen and spend just ten minutes of your day to take care of your oral hygiene. Floss at least once per day and brush your teeth twice daily for two to three minutes.

Remember to floss before brushing!

Mouthwash research is limited and most reputable sources do not agree with each other. Mouthwash is not necessary if you’re already brushing and flossing your teeth correctly, but can be a nice addition to have even better smelling breath!
